Policy Brief on Strengthening Agrobiodiversity Conservation and Climate Resilience
This policy brief compiles evidence, policy inputs, and recommendations to guide public policy formulation based on the outcomes of the project “Reversing the Desertification Process in Susceptible Areas of Brazil: Sustainable Agroforestry Practices and Biodiversity Conservation” (Redeser). The initiative was executed under an agreement signed between the One Million Cisterns Program Association (AP1MC) – the legal entity representing the Brazilian Semi-Arid Articulation (ASA) – and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), under the technical coordination and supervision of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MMA).
